Two More Marketing Documents Posted

I just posted two more PDF versions of marketing documents to the Sales section of our web page. The one is our new brochure which now covers both ZP 32 and ZP SQL. The other is a document I sent to a prospective customer who wanted some help with his sales pitch to his board. It is basically a fleshed-out outline of a speech I gave a few years back on how permit automation software can benefit a community. 

Preventing Permit Number Changes

Every January I hear from customers who go to change their numbering scheme for the new year only to discover that some odd thing a user manually typed in for a permit number is now tripping up their system. This year an enterprising customer asked if there was a way to simply prevent users from manually editing the permit number that ZonePro suggests. I had to think about it, but yes, that can be easily done. The solution of course is a User Script. To try it yourself, check out entry number six in the "More User Script Examples from Customers" document in the Scripts page of our web site. This trick works for either ZP 32 or ZP SQL.
