Crossloop Offers Another Remote Support Option

Another remote support tool has come to my attention; this one at Crossloop.com. This is another on-line service that makes it easy to allow an outside person to access and control your PC remotely for support and help purposes. The basic download is free. I have not had the opportunity to try this option yet but have read several recommendations. This is yet another option to keep in mind for ZonePro customers who would like to have us remotely view their installation to fix a difficult problem.

Easy Folder Linking In Photo Module

I've written before about how to link to a folder with the Photo Module. It turns out my previous solution was needlessly complicated. There's actually a very easy way to do it. Linking to a folder, instead of an individual file, is useful when you want to link many items to a property record without having to create a record for each one. An easy way to do it is to add a new record in the Image Database Screen, click on the "Not An Image" option and link to any individual file in the desired folder. Then edit the resulting path in the File Path field to remove the file name portion back to the first back slash. When you save this record you will have a link to the folder. Clicking on the Camera button will open Windows Explorer with the contents of that folder revealed. As easy as this is, in the next release of ZonePro I will make it even easier to link to a folder.
