Mini Meetings in LogMeIn Pro

This morning I toyed with a feature of LogMeIn Pro called Mini Meetings. This feature lets users invite a third party (for example, ZP Systems) to remotely view the contents of their PC. The remote viewer can also be invited to control the PC. This option is great if you have a particularly sticky ZonePro problem and you want us to see your desktop the way you do. It is also nice for walk-through demos in conjunction with a conference call such that both parties can see the same screens, etc. Just something to keep in mind.

E-Mailing Large Files

Every so often I need a customer to send me one of their ZonePro files for troubleshooting, etc. Some times these files are too big for conventional e-mail delivery. In those cases we have had great success using the YouSendIt web service. This web site allows you to send large files easily by uploading them to the web and then sending an e-mail to the recipient telling them how to retrieve the file. Basic transfers are free on files up to 100 MB. Keep it in mind.

Conference Season Again

As summer rolls into fall, ZP Systems embarks on its annual binge of exhibiting at conferences. Our plans for this fall include two new shows and several old standbys. We will have a vendor table at each of the following:
- Sep. 7-10, North Carolina Association of Housing Code Officials, in Kitty Hawk, NC.
- Oct. 15-17, Ohio Kentucky Indian Planning Conference, in Louisville, KY
- Oct. 29-30, American Association of Code Enforcement officials, in Portland, OR.
- Nov. 6-7, North Carolina Permitting Personnel Conference, in Hickory, NC.
- Nov. 14, Cleveland Planning Conference, in Westlake OH.
- Dec. 5, Miami Valley Planning Conference, in Dayton, OH.
If you attend any of these shows please stop by our booth and say hello. Also, if you have any ZonePro questions, this is a great time to one-on-one instruction.
